Imagine a story that has the power to spark a nationwide movement for reform. This is more than just a story; it is a cry for justice, for truth, for change. It is the story of One Man's Fight for Freedom and His Daughter, a harrowing, heartbreaking journey that exposes the systemic corruption in the justice system, the prison industrial complex, and Child Protective Services. A documentary on this case would reveal the shocking truth about the racial and economic biases deeply ingrained in our institutions and could inspire the action needed to bring about long-overdue reform.

A Story of Injustice and Perseverance

This man's life has been shattered by a system that was supposed to protect him and his rights.

Targeted for his religious beliefs and his Race as a Black man, he has endured false arrests,

police brutality, malicious force, fraudulent hospital commitments, stolen property, and

malicious prosecutions. His rights have been violated at every turn, and despite the

overwhelming evidence of the abuses he has suffered, he remains incarcerated. The system seeks

to silence him, but his story demands to be heard.

The Most Heartbreaking Injustice: Separation from His Daughter

Perhaps the most gut-wrenching injustice is the deliberate and calculated effort to keep him from

his 2-year-old daughter. As if the constant legal battles and harassment weren't enough, he has

been banned from any contact with his only child. Child Protective Services has refused to

place his daughter with her grandmother, a well-respected and decorated member of the

community, and instead is pushing to have the child adopted outside the family. This is a

calculated act of cruelty—a way to sever any hope of a future relationship between father and

daughter.

This is Not Just His Story—It’s the Story of Every Black Man Fighting for Justice in

America

His story is echoed by so many others, from Rodney King to George Floyd, men whose rights

have been trampled upon, whose lives have been stolen by a justice system riddled with systemic

racism. Just like them, this man has been subjected to violent and excessive force at the hands

of police. He was beaten unconscious at a protest rally, tased more than 20 times while

handcuffed on the ground—an incident that was captured on video. In another instance, he was

beaten with a police baton while on his knees with his hands raised.

The system's cruelty didn’t stop there. In a shocking display of corruption, he was offered a plea

deal on March 25, 2020, with the option of freedom—if he accepted it. However, if he refused

the deal, the state threatened to commit him to a mental hospital. The absurdity of being

considered mentally fit for release only on the condition of accepting a plea bargain exposes the

cruel game the system plays with human lives.

A Legacy of Malicious Prosecution and Stolen Rights

Beyond physical abuse, this man has faced endless legal battles through malicious prosecutions.

He was arrested, stripped of his identity, labeled “John Doe,” and held in jail for six months for a

crime he did not commit. When he was finally released, his property had been stolen, and no

restitution was made. He has been subjected to false arrests, each case eventually dismissed but

not before stripping him of months of his life and denying him the fundamental freedoms we are

all supposed to enjoy.

It is important to note the falsification of records. Currently in custody, he was unjustly

convicted of one charge, however, the prison website shows it has been changed to an

accelerated charge which is false.

This story is urgent, necessary, and powerful. The urgency belies the fact that they have filed a

motion to strip his parental rights in the next 30 days and may succeed if we do not act now. The

video evidence, the documentation, the trauma he has endured—it all points to a broken system

that preys on the vulnerable, especially Black men, and attempts to destroy their lives without

accountability. This man’s fight for freedom is emblematic of the countless others who have been

wronged by these same systems. But his fight is not over—and neither is ours.

Now is the time to bring his story to light. To unite in the fight for justice and reform. To use our

platforms—whether they be in film, media, the courtroom, or the streets—to amplify this call for

change. This documentary could be the spark that ignites a movement.

Are you ready to tell this story? Are you ready to expose the truth? Let’s make sure his fight for

freedom and his daughter is seen by the world. The time for justice is now.

Join the fight. Help us tell his story. This is a call to action.
